Thanks Geetika, Really great reminder. especially about comparing myself to others. How great it is to read about Ayurveda here and so well explained and in such a light tone. (Mostly when I studied it was "this! not this!" haha! Just in time too. It's very hot right now!

I come alive in the heat. I cannot tolerate the cold. Anything below 60 degrees Fahrenheit is cold for me. I have Raynaud's so I don't have good circulation in my hands and feet, and I'm super sensitive to cold. I just took my flannel sheets off the bed in mid-June! I'll put them back on in September.

I had just sorted out my confusion between Ayurveda and ayahuasca, and important difference, and now I have to get my head around Pitta and pitta bread. This is all too much! 😀

John, you are giving me so much ammunition for ice breakers when I do Ayurveda workshops. I thank you for that. Love your humor and apologies for so much confusion. I try my best to confuse you further in my next post 🤓

Overheated, irritated, inflamed, words getting sharper. All feeling very familiar at the moment. (And I was putting all the blame on politics!)

At this exact moment, we can’t do too much about the horror show that is politics. However, we can do something cooling for ourselves- like meeting good friends in an air conditioned space, reading an uplifting book or seeing great art at the MOMA or the Met. I hope you don’t get annoyed with my suggestions. I’m mostly speaking to myself 😊

Great Post, Geetika. Self studying ayurveda at the moment helps me understand my unique Pitta-Vata constitution and build rhythms around it.

Too new to integrating the practice, but enjoying the process of learning immensely about the self and the changes internal and external!

Thanks Janki. I know what you are saying— Ayurveda is so vast. If I can help in anyway, please feel free to reach out 😊
